Our names are Oz and Eytan Markman-Raffeld and we are in the middle of our 5th session and third year at Camp Inc. Over these years we have started many companies as well as learned a ton about business, investment, and camp living. From the first session, first year, we loved it. From the amazing and friendly counselors to the extraordinary programs. We left that session missing camp so much we were able to convince our parents to send us for the second session of that year. Once again we had an amazing time. We made lifelong friends as well as learned valuable skills. The next summer came around and we went third session of that year. Camp Inc.’s location had changed, but that didn’t change anything for us. Instead we reunited with friends from the previous year, as well as made new ones who came from all over the world. Now in

our third year we came second session where we made friends who lived close to home as well as far away. During that session we really connected with some of the counselors that we had met. Now that was the plan for this year, but when we arrived home we hugged our parents and in two days we knew that the third session would get underway. So during the next day, Eytan suddenly asked if we could go the next session. With a few quick emails, and some packing the next morning, we were underway and heading back to camp. Seeing those counselors and friends from just a couple days ago felt so good, especially after thinking we wouldn’t be seeing them until next year. I [Oz] got on the bus to head to camp and saw those counselors and couldn’t help but giving them warm hugs. The same happened after getting off the bus. Seeing Omer and Aryeh,

my cabin counselors, was amazing. Now going into our fifth session, we are making excellent friends, reuniting with those counselors, and learning new skills. For example, I [Oz] am taking coding. Now, I have never had any experience with this, and yet with our great coding teacher, Jack, I have already learned more than what I thought I could. We can’t wait to see what this session brings as we continue through it. By the end we know we’ll miss those counselors and friends who are close to us. As we will look up at in the dining hall during our last meal, we will see our eight shirts from all of our start-up hanging up there.
