IMG-20150804-WA0000Today was our third session’s trip to Denver and Boulder. The campers in general are always excited about these trips and today was no different. The day started out with a bus ride to the Red Rocks Amphitheater. This amazing outdoor venue is carved into giant red rocks and is simply phenomenal.

The campers had a great time running up and down the steps, touring the museum, and hiking. Red Rocks was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our lunch and also get some energy out in the form of good old-fashioned exercise. After our time at Red Rocks, we headed to SugarWish.

At Sugar Wish we met with Leslie and Elisabeth the co-founders of this unique gift giving service. Leslie and Elisabeth explained how they came to found SugarWish and also the direction they see their company going. The campers really related to the business model of the company and asked some very thought provoking questions. Next on the agenda was a Colorado Rockies game.

When we arrived at the ballpark we ushered up to a conference room on the club level. Here, we had the opportunity to speak with Ken Babby about the business of baseball. Normally when you think of a baseball game, you think about the runs, the outs, and players, but tonight we actually go to dive into the real business of baseball. After our meeting with Ken, we headed into the ballgame.

Today was an awesome day for both campers and staff! We all learned a lot and had a lot of fun too.
